Flowing Waters welcomes groups of diverse paths, needs, and incomes, who hold an intention of increasing Unity and Light. We are a Mindfulness Practice Center, integrating meditation and ethics into daily life and our interactions.

Group Retreats:
Namaste House
is for small to medium group retreats with comfortable facilities for meeting in the large living room, huge decks and lawns by the creek.  For large groups, Stewart Mineral Springs, (five minute walk) provides overflow lodging. All of Flowing Waters can be reserved with the smaller charming cottages, Kuan Yin Cottage and Ananda A frame.

For Meals, use the fully equipped kitchens in Namaste, Kuan Yin and Ananda. Or ask us about catered meals.  Two complete natural food stores are in the town of Mt. Shasta (15 minutes). An internet café and grocery stores are in Weed (10 minutes).

As well as relaxing by the waters, we can arrange for healing massage on site (Shiatsu, Swedish, Deep Tissue, etc.).  Just up the road, Stewart Springs offers rich mineral baths and a Saturday Sweat Lodge led by local Native Americans.

For Group Leaders:
We wish to support you and your group. Ask us about a sample budget for group leaders.  Please note there is no smoking, alcohol nor recreational drugs and we practice loving care of the Earth asking our guests to “reduce, reuse, recycle”.

We can help you find Mt Shasta’s famous as well as hidden sacred sites, spectacular local hiking trails, pure lakes for swimming, friendly naturalists and Klamath River kayak/raft outfitters and guides etc. We can help you create and guide mindful dining, sacred ceremonies and rites of passage.

Meditation and Healing Retreats:
Flowing Waters Retreat is very conducive to smaller group retreats for meditation and mindfulness practice, healing and contemplation.  The large outdoor decks and lawns by the waters as well as the large living room are lovely spaces for inspirational talks and practice. The decks are also perfect for outdoor movement. The quiet ponds, paths, sacred forest spaces, and national forest land support solo practice.  There is no need for cars.

We welcome:

  • Mindfulness practice, meditation and silent group retreats.
  • Yoga, tai chi, healing movement/dance.
  • Professional trainings or intensives.
  • Creative art process and writing/poetry groups, etc.
  • Spiritual activists and Light workers who need deep rest.

  • Families and other Groups seeking to “unplug” and be together outdoors.

Transportation: You can choose to leave your car parked!
Walking distance: spectacular views of Mt. Shasta, pure creek swimming, and national forest lands, guided weekly sweat lodge, as well as Stewart Springs mineral baths and massage.
Without highway driving: Just up the road is wilderness land. For hikers, there is the Trinity Alps and Pacific Crest Trail.  By back roads: you can visit Mt Shasta, Black Butte, Mt Shasta Abbey, Lake Siskiyou, Heart Lake etc.
