Dragonflies of the Siskiyous, July 15-17
We’re buzzing
about a second summer with master teachers Kathy and Dave Biggs, authors of Common Dragonflies of California (2015 was sold out!).  Their chock full workshop will mesmerize and teach. The 1st day delves into the fascinating world of dragonflies, their unique biology and lifecycle, followed by an afternoon in the field. The 2nd day presents uncommon species and a trip to a beautiful high mountain lake, stream and fen.

Touching Peace in Times of Fire

How do we stay in touch with our peace and happiness during challenging times? In the style of Thich Nhat Hanh, this Annual Retreat is guided by his ordained practitioners.  Practice joyful mindfulness together with meditation, mindful eating, small group sharing and creekside walking meditation.  Solo personal time and time with new friends. Yoga Ashram in the Power of Mt Shasta Aug. 24 to 27
Strengthen & deepen your Yoga, have time to reflect on your life, and laugh & play together in this 4 day yoga ashram. Daily Yoga asana, meditation with pranayama, healthy foods, solo mountain reflections, hiking and swimming in pure waters. For experienced yogis who are ready to deepen their understanding of their practice and/or teaching. Laurel is a well known SF Bay Area yoga teacher, owner of Flowing Waters Retreat, certified by 3 schools of yoga, with a lifetime of teaching yoga.
