The Power and Sacred Sites of Mt. Shasta inspire your reflections and meditations including meditative Heart Lake, sacred Panther Meadows, The Source, Ascension Rock, and the Pluto Caves.

Miles of National Forest Land are near our border with a full view ceremonial site of Mt. Shasta. A baby bear and cougar twins were sighted last Fall! 15 minutes walk.

Stewart Mineral Springs is our neighbor, right outside our driveway, with rich mineral healing water baths, wood burning sauna, restaurant and massage facilities. Each weekend (call SMS to check) a sweat lodge is guided by Native American teachers. 5 minutes walk.

Glacial Mt. Eddy, the Trinity Alps and the Pacific Crest Trail are just up our road with famous wildflower wetlands, unlimited hiking, spectacular views and pristine swimming lakes.  Three protected wilderness areas near us are: Trinity Alps, Marble Mountains and Russian Wilderness.  Ask us about the trail with three! swimming lakes winding through alpine meadows to the heights of Mt. Eddy, only 20 minutes by car.

Lake Siskiyou and Castle Lake for spectacular pure water swimming, hiking, kayaking, and family play.

Winter at Mt Shasta is gorgeous with cross country and downhill skiing areas as well as an outdoor skating rink. Snowshoes and outdoor equipment rentals are available in Mt Shasta City. (15 minutes)

The Wild Klamath River with bears, birds including bald eagles, rafting, tubing and kayaking, offering both gentle floating and rapids. Ask about our favorite local Mt. Shasta rafting/kayaking outfitters! 35-45 minutes by car.

Beloved town of Ashland, Oregon offers many creative and cultural arts events with music, dance and theatre performances such as the famous summer Shakespeare Festival.  Famous Lithia Park, with free outdoor performers and Wellsprings Hot Springs, with soaking pools and large festivals and events. 1 hr. by car.
